Southern Fried Chicken π

MARINADE
2Β½ cup buttermilk
Β½ tsp hot sauce (Cholula)
1Β½ tsp garlic powder π§ 
Β½ tsp onion powder π§
 
Β½ tsp cayenne πΆ 
1 tsp salt
ΒΌ tsp black pepper 
INGREDIENTS
1 whole chicken, cut into sections π 
3Β½ cup flour
2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cayenne πΆ 
2 eggs, beaten π₯ 
2Β½ cup buttermilk
Β½ tsp hot sauce (Cholula)
DIRECTIONS
- Combine marinade ingredients, coat chicken thoroughly, and refrigerate overnight 
- Heat 2β peanut oil on medium high 
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl for dredging chicken 
- Combine wet ingredients in a large bowl for coating chicken 
- Remove chicken from refrigerator (do not rinse marinade!) and dredge in flour mixture 
- Coat in wet ingredients then dredge a second time 
- Fry till golden brown
