Classic Mashed Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

5 lbs red potatoes
1 cup heavy cream, room temp
1 stick butter
salt & pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Peel and boil potatoes until they can be pierced with a fork

  • Use a mixer to mash the potatoes with butter and ½ tsp of salt

  • Slowly add heavy cream, continuing to mix

  • Mix in fresh ground pepper and add additional salt to taste
