Classic Mashed Potatoes

INGREDIENTS
5 lbs red potatoes
1 cup heavy cream, room temp
1 stick butter
salt & pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Peel and boil potatoes until they can be pierced with a fork 
- Use a mixer to mash the potatoes with butter and ½ tsp of salt 
- Slowly add heavy cream, continuing to mix 
- Mix in fresh ground pepper and add additional salt to taste
