Herb Rice
INGREDIENTS
2 cups jasmine rice, rinsed π 
3 cups chicken stock π 
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Β½ onion, finely chopped π§
 
1 whole bulb garlic, roasted π§ 
1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 sprig thyme, stalk removed
ΒΌ tsp salt (optional)
Β½ lemon, juiced (optional) π 
DIRECTIONS
- Melt butter in olive oil on medium high heat 
- SautΓ© onions till golden 
- Add rice, herbs, and salt (if using) 
- Squeeze in roasted garlic; stir till there are no large chunks 
- Add chicken stock (and lemon juice, if using) and bring to boil, stirring to prevent sticking 
- Reduce heat to simmer, cover pan and cook for 20 min 
- Fluff and gently stir rice; serve
