Chicken Shawarma (Oven Roasted) 🐓

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs boneless/skinless chicken thighs
1 red onion, quartered 🧅
2 lemons, juiced 🍋
½ cup olive oil
6 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp black pepper
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
pinch of cinnamon
red pepper flakes (to taste)
2 tbsp chopped parsley

DIRECTIONS

  • Mix all spices and herbs with lemon juice and olive oil

  • Marinate chicken thighs in mixture for 4–8 hours

  • Preheat oven to 425º

  • Place marinated chicken and onions on sheet pan

  • Bake for 40 min
